. it happened near the eastmoor avenue exit in daly city. c-h-p says a single car appears to have crashed into a guardrail shortly after 8-15 this evening. authorities say the crash may have caused the vehicle to catch on fire. one person has been transported to s-f general. no word on the victim's condition or if there were any other injuries. also new at 11. two santa rosa brothers are in custody today after firing an assault rifle at a home when they were thrown out from a party early this morning. the shooting was reported shortly before two this morning on lutztown court. police say a tan jeep drove into the area. firing at the house. and then collided with a parked car. the two were involved in a fight at the party and were asked to leave. only to return ten minutes later with an assault rifle. police later located the vehicle and traced it to the apple valley lane apartment complex and arrested alexis rueda and his brother eduardo rueda. the assault rifle was later found in a nearby shed. in east palo alto, a man is recovering after being stabbed this morning. the stabbing happened
